Tattoo aftercare

Tattoo Aftercare: Normal Foil

1. Keep the bandage on for 3–4 hours

This initial protection prevents bacteria from entering and gives the tattoo time to start healing.

2. Remove the foil and wash your tattoo

Gently clean the tattoo with warm water and antibacterial soap. Wash it 3–4 times a day to keep it fresh and clean.

3. Start applying cream on the 4th day

From day four, apply a thin layer of Bepanthen Plus cream daily for one week. Avoid applying too much cream.

4. Avoid baths, saunas and swimming pools for 10 days

These activities can lead to infection or disrupt the healing process. Stick to showers instead.

Tattoo Aftercare: Second Skin Foil

1. Expect plasma buildup in the first 24 hours

Plasma under the bandage is normal. If there is excessive buildup, carefully remove the bandage after 24 hours and wash the tattoo with antibacterial soap.

2. Keep the Second Skin bandage on for 3–6 days

If the bandage is secure and clean, leave it on to allow the tattoo to heal faster.

3. After removing the Second Skin bandage

Wash the tattoo with warm water and antibacterial soap. Begin applying a thin layer of aftercare cream or coconut oil as needed.

4. Avoid scratching or picking at the tattoo

Let the tattoo heal naturally. Continue using aftercare cream until it is fully healed.
